Ek Dham Yatra Packages – During Ek Dham Yatra, devotees can visit any of the Chardham temples. Kedarnath has temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Badrinath has temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Yamunotri Devi is a holy temple of Yamuna Devi. Gangotri is a sacred pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is believed that a holy dip in Yamunotri and Gangotri saves the devotees from untimely death and washes away their sins. At Trayaksha Yatra, we offer a variety of Ek Dham packages to choose from, including Kedarnath Ji and Badrinath Ji from both Haridwar and Delhi. Ek Dham Yatra means visiting any one of the four Dhams Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri or Yamunotri.

Yamunotri Dham – Yamunotri is located 265 km from Haridwar. The road goes up to Jankichatti. Then there is a 6 km walk to Yamunotri. Yamunotri is another important Dham in Char Dham Yatra. When people start Chardham Yatra, they first go to Yamunotri. Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, is situated amidst picturesque surroundings. Pilgrims set out on a journey along rocky paths strong streams flow to reach this holy temple. Surya Kund is a hot water spring located close to the temple and pilgrims take bath with rice and potatoes tied in a muslin cloth. It is offered as Prasad in the temple. Divya Shila is situated near Surya Kund and is worshiped before the worship of the main deity. Yamunotri temple opens every year on Akshaya Tritiya.

Gangotri Dham – Gangotri, situated at an altitude of 3,048 meters in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, is the origin of the river Ganga. The main attraction here is the Gangotri temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. There is a temple of Goddess Ganga here which is worshiped by pilgrims. According to Hindu mythology, Gangotri is the place from where Ganga came to earth. The source of Ganga is Gaumukh which is about 18 km from Gangotri. Gangotri can be reached by road and vehicles go to Gangotri.  The temple of Gangotri opens every year on Akshaya Tritiya.

Kedarnath Dham – Kedarnath Yatra is another most important journey in Ek Dham Yatra. Kedarnath temple is of Lord Shiva and Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. When the Pandit starts chanting the mantras you are transformed into another world. It feels like a supernatural experience, as if Lord Shiva himself is present in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. This is an experience that any person should enjoy at least once in their lifetime. The temple of Gangotri opens every year on Akshaya Tritiya.

Badrinath Dham – Badrinath is the most important place in Chardham Yatra in India. Badrinath is the holy place of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu is worshiped in the dual form of Nara Narayana. Situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River, this holy temple attracts countless pilgrims who seek blessings from Lord Vishnu. According to Skanda Purana, there are many holy places of pilgrimage in heaven, earth and underworld but there is no pilgrimage like Badrinath. It is believed that Badrinath Yatra opens the door to attain salvation. Badrinath is one of the 108 Divyadeshas of Vaishnavas.

One can take a dip in the hot pool in front of Badrinath temple. During a Dham Yatra you can also visit Mata Murti Temple, Bhima Pul, Vyas Cave, Ganesh Cave and Panch Prayag. Badrinath Yatra is considered the most sacred and important journey for Hindus. Every year on Vasant Panchami, the dates for opening the doors of Badrinath are announced.
