The Shrikhand Mahadev Trek is a challenging spiritual journey that involves trekking through steep and rugged terrain. Itinerary
Pick-up from Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station, Drive towards Shimla, Reach Shimla in the evening. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.
After Breakfast around 7 AM drive towards Sarhan and places to visit on the way Narkanda- Hatu Peak, Sun Temple, Nirath (Only Sun Temple in North India), Shiva Cave (Dev Dhank), Ambika Temple (Built up in 7th Centaury). Lunch on the way Reach Sarhan , Check-in at Hotel . Overnight stay in Hotel.
Early morning after breakfast Darshan Bhimakali Temple (one of the 51 Shaktipeeth). Drive to Jaon. After Reaching Jaon, Health /Medical Test then Trek 3 km to SinghGhat. SinghGhat (The last village of the region towards Srikhand Kailash) Overnight Stay at Camps.
Early morning trek towards Thachdu walk along the rivulet to Bharati Naulla (2 hours). Climb a dense forest with 80 degree slope to Thachdu. 12 Km straight uphill stretch to Reach Thachdu in the evening. Overnight at Camps
After breakfast trek towards Bhimdwar and Parvati Bagh. Trek to Kalighati (Altitude 12778 Ft (The journey begins with a 3 km uphill trek to Kali Ghati, which is supposed to be abode of the Goddess KALI . The Shiva-Linga can be seen from this point). Walk towards Bhimtalai (1 KM downhill stretch Altitude 11,299 ft ). Departing from Bheem Talai, there is a 3 km stretch to Kunsa Valley , a green valley with Himalayan flowers surrounding it. After another 3km stretch from here Reach Bheem Dawaar, (having all the usual services). Then another trek 2 Km climb to reach Parvati Bagh. Familiarization with the climate and the region( Altitude 13622 Ft.) Overnight at camps in Parvati Bagh.
Trek early in the morning to reach Srikhand Mahadev. Trek Nain Sarovar (2Km) Experience beautiful landscape, natural lake (Nain Sarovar), Rocks, Glacier etc,Reach to the level of clouds. After this, is the final stretch of approximately 3 km to the peak, through rocky terrains, to the peak, where the lingam is situated. The peak, alongside having Shiva's lingam also has a mountain for lord Kartikeya behind the main Shiva mountain. Darshana of Shivlingam ( Approx 17150 ft). Back to Parvati Bagh / Bhimdwar, Overnight stay at Camps.
Next morning after breakfast and check out from camps, trek back to Thachdu. Overnight at Camps.
Trek back to Village SinghGhat , Reach Jaon in the Late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Homestay / Hotel.
Morning After breakfast check-out from Hotel, Drive to Shimla. Lunch on the Way ( Your own). Reach Shimla. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel.
After breakfast proceed to drop at Chandigarh Airport / Kalka Rly Station as per your Schedule.
