Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Tour Package
Itinerary
Our driver will receive you at Cochin Airport/Railway Station and you will be transferred to Munnar, the exotic tea garden hill station of Kerala. Reach Munnar and check into the resort. Later in the evening visit the Tea Museum. Learn how tea is taken from its raw state to its final state. The rest of the time, keep yourself enveloped by the majestic nature. Overnight stay has been arranged in a hotel in Munnar.
Explore Munnar more during the second day in Munnar. After breakfast, proceed to visit Eravikulam National Park “where you get to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr”. Later proceed to visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point etc. Return back to hotel after an exciting day. Overnight stay has been arranged in a hotel in Munnar.
In the morning, after breakfast, continue your journey to Thekkady and reach there in a few hours. Check in to the resort and relax. Later proceed for spice plantation tour. Explore the variety of spices in Kerala. You can also purchase some varieties. Take a boat trip on the Periyar Lake to see the elephants and birds for which the sanctuary is famous. Boat cruises and sunrise and sunset viewings are especially recommended. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
In the morning after breakfast, continue your journey to Alleppey. Reach Alleppey by 12 noon and board the houseboat. Relax and enjoy during a houseboat tour on the waterways. By 13:30, the houseboat will stop for lunch and at 14:30 it will continue its journey covering a vast portion of the backwaters. Enjoy tea and snacks onboard. By 18:00 the houseboat will drop anchor for an unforgettable night in the backwaters.
After breakfast at 8 am the houseboat will start the journey again. The houseboat will drop you at Alleppey Jetty by 9 am. Timely transfer to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for safe and comfortable departure.
